“Seeing Yourself”

I need to lose weight. My hair is awful. I hate my skin. My curves are hideous. Now, that isn’t you putting yourself down, is it?

Fact is no matter how you see yourself. You must know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:14) There comes a time that you have to stop comparing yourself to what you think you should look like. And thank God of how beautiful and handsome He has made you. (1 Peter 3:3-4)

Remember, learn to see yourself as Heavenly Father sees you - as His precious daughter or son with divine potential. (Dieter F. Uchtdorf)
