“Keep Being Ignorant or Be Wise”

Read Now

Folks can be mean, ugly and nasty in their ways. But just because you're sweet, nice and loving doesn’t mean that they're going to be like that as well.

You can’t treat folks like they treat you no matter how low they go. YES, there might be an instance where you want to go off, pop off and set it off on them. But you can’t do that.

Don’t fall for the trap of the ignorant devices of the enemy.  (Ephesians 6:11) You’re better than that!

Remember, not engaging in ignorance is wisdom. (Bodhidharma)

“Whoever restrains his words has knowledge, and he who has a cool spirit is a man of understanding. Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.” (Proverbs 17:27-28)

“Is it Karma or Reaping What You Sow”

Read Now

You’ll get boomerang. Just wait the same thing will get done to you too. Sound familiar, right? Some folks call it Karma. Others call it reaping what you sow.

Call it what you want. But at the end of the day, God isn’t mocked. What you sow you shall reap. (Galatians 6:7)

Remember, karma moves in two directions. If we act virtuously, the seed we plant will result in happiness. If we act non-virtuously, suffering results. (Sakyong Mipham)

“My experience shows that those who plant trouble and cultivate evil will harvest the same. A breath from God destroys them. They vanish in a blast of his anger.” (Job 4:8-9)

I should have done it differently. What if it doesn’t work out? If Only….  The woulda’s, coulda’s and shoulda’s in life can you drive you crazy.

Fact is God doesn’t give us a spirit of fear. (2 Timothy 1:7) There is no reason that you should be afraid to walk into your future. And it’s time for you to release the things of the past. (Isaiah 43:18)

YES, it didn’t work out the way YOU thought. Truth is it worked out EXACTLY in your favor. You probably just haven’t seen it yet. But keep on living!!!!

Remember, many of us crucify ourselves between two thieves - regret for the past and fear of the future. (Fulton Oursler)

“So don't be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom.” (Luke 12:32)

When people think about heroes they think of a person admired for their achievements, courage and strength. Normally, they are quick to name someone that they look up too. But have you ever thought about everything that you’ve come through?

Fact is YOU are a hero. YOU are still standing with all the fiery darts, shots and knives that were thrown at.  The enemy tried his best shot to take you out and down. But look at you now.

Remember, a hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles. (Christopher Reeve)

“Greatly have they afflicted me from my youth, yet they have not prevailed against me.” (Psalm 129:2)

Just stop let me do it. You’re doing it wrong. Well, go ahead and do it then. But secretly inside you want them to fail. Now, is that you?

Correcting is telling someone that they’re mistaken. Encouraging is when you give someone support in being positive and hope in their future endeavor and or promise. There is a difference between correcting and encouraging. Which are you?

Remember, correction does much, but encouragement does more. (Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe)
“Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.” (Ephesians 4:29)

No Mam. Yes Sir. Thank you and You’re Welcome. Those are all things that we learned at an early age on how to talk to people and what to do and what not to do.

So, if life is like a roller coaster for you right now. And you KNOW that you need to walk by faith and not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7) Why aren’t you doing it?

Remember, knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do. (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe)

“"Truly I tell you," Jesus replied, "if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' it will happen.” (Matthew 21:21)

“Unnecessary Suffering”

Read Now

Suffering is the state of undergoing pain, distress, or hardship. Who hasn’t been there a time or two? But what do you do when you’re there?

Well, you don’t need to trip and cause unnecessary stress when trials come your way. Instead, count it all joy and know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.  (James 1:2-4)

That’s easier said than done. But know that you will get through that suffering. God is good, and He is always there so try to focus on the good that is to come.

Remember, a man who suffers before it is necessary, suffers more than is necessary. (Lucius Annaeus Seneca)
“More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” (Romans 5:3-5)

“The Memory” (Was it True or False)

Read Now

Memories are something remembered from the past as a recollection. We all have them. However, are you remembering exactly the truth or do you see it the way that you want to see it.

It’s easy to get caught up in the way you wanted it to go. But at the end of the day, truth is truth no matter how you want to see it.

Remember, the difference between false memories and true ones is the same as for jewels: it is always the false ones that look the most real, the most brilliant. (Salvador Dali)

“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."” (John 8:32)
