You know he or she is taken. And you know you can’t have sweets, but that sweet potato pie is calling your name. How many times have you been told to stop eating red meat? But that steak and gravy looks oh so yummy. Sound familiar?
We’ve all been there. Sometimes, we’re there a lot. You know you have no business doing something. However, you do it anyway because it feels so good to do it. It’s comfort! But is it worth the consequences? Remember, it’s a fool who will be stuck in a cold hole with a ladder and will cut the steps on the ladder to use for fire wood. He could have climbed the ladder to get out the hole, but he wanted that temporary comfort because he was cold. Moral of the story: Don’t Burn Your Opportunities For A Temporary Comfort. “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13) TNHB Inspirations, LLC.
